Boat trips from Beruwala and Moragalla to nearby islands
Beruwela beach is in the south coast of Sri Lanka, 60 kilometers from Colombo. You can enjoy a lot of scenery, such as the turtle hatchery, mask works, mini zoo, theme parks and so on. Barberyn Island and Lighthouse
You can take boat trips from Beruwala to Barberyn island with the Lighthouse, which takes around ten minutes. The Barberyn Lighthouse Beruwala is located on a small island off the coast and can be reached only by boat. The island is roughly around eight acres and is surrounded by thick vegetation. It is covered with coconut trees, plumeria flowers, mango trees, cashew trees and grass. Bird lovers will take pleasure at the exotic migratory birds as well as Sri Lankan birds. This island is the best place to have a quiet time, or just take in the views and have a picnic.

Boat trips along Bentota River
You will find boats, on the beach close to Lanka Pirncess Hotel and Maharaja Seafood Restaurant, offering brief boat ride to the other side of Bentota river, where the island begins. There is a short excursion to the small island (250m wide), crowned with a small Buddhist monastery, also other Hotels in Bentota such as Club Bentota are on this island.
Bentota river boat trips can be made to Mangroves
Club Bentota has shuttle boat trip. Spit of land is located, it can only be reached by shuttle boat. It is located on an arm of the beach between the Bentota river and the beach.

From Gall Road turn to beach side at Lanka Princess Hotel. He will arrange trip to Yagirala Forest Reserve, Managed by Department of Forestry and Environment Science, University of Sri Jayewardenepura for Rs 5000.
